TERRA
TERRA is a photographic and geographical portrait of our Earth and at the same time a tribute to the beauty of nature and the miracle of life. For five years, I travelled around the world with my camera and photographed ten natural landscapes that were either shaped by forces from within the Earth, such as plate tectonics and volcanism, or by the energy of the sun, wind, and water, and that stand as examples of the diversity of our planet.
In my live multimedia presentation TERRA, I show these ten “faces of the Earth”—the Arctic, the Himalayas, the Andes, the Pacific Ring of Fire, the deserts of Arabia, the Amazon Basin, the savannas of East Africa, the Siberian taiga, and the steppes of Central Asia. In addition to fascinating landscapes, I also introduce animals, plants, and cultures from the most diverse climate zones of our Earth and report in an entertaining and exciting way about my travel adventures around the world.
