As a teenager, I discovered my passion for traveling and photographing—and realized I had a talent for presenting my images live on stage.

Since giving my first public travel presentation in 1978 and publishing my first book in 1989, a great deal has happened: 300 long-distance journeys, 35 books, and 2,000 presentations.

These pages share my experiences as an author and travel speaker. My work has been supported by three companies for many years, and I am also a member of professional associations and organizations. You will find information about those here as well.
